This is a Sorby 2" sanding tool which is good for anyone without a battery drill, it is driven by the work rotating in the lathe. I must admit it is perhaps not as effective as when the sanding disc is used in a drill but will also reach inside hollow forms where drills will not fit. It is worth having one with of course a supply of sanding discs of each grade.
