I also use a Trend air shield which is excellent providing you have at least two batteries. The disadvantage is ‘the outrageous cost of the filters’ I am sure Trend could easily half this cost and still make a very nice profit thank you.

Please, please do not buy a Racal 3m Super Airlite shield if you are offered one like I did only to discover that they were then discontinued and the spares immediately became non existent - thank you very much 3M for your empty promise that spares would be available for 5 years (perhaps they should go into politics), I am not sure now exactly how much it was but about a hundred and forty, pounds totally wasted. 3M seem to have successfully got away with ripping off hundreds and hundreds of woodworkers and turners of their hard earned money as well as me.

You probably gathered 3M are certainly not a company I will knowingly do business with again, prizes will be considered for suggestions of quite where they can ‘stick their 3M Post it Notes’.
